Your June Resources + Community updates
Stories, tips, tools, and encouragement.
Hello, Inspire Her Afrika’s Family,
Can we just take a second to appreciate how far we’ve all come this year? There’s something about the middle of the year that feels like a deep breath. A moment to look around, reflect, and remind yourself that everything you’ve been building is adding up to something.
Our IHA Bootcamp has been running at full speed and while we’ve been busy in the best way possible, we made sure this newsletter was worth the wait because you deserve more than just a rushed update.
This month we’re bringing you community spotlights, honest advice, growth tools, and everything you need to step into the second half of 2026 with intention.
We hope this finds you well. Now let’s get into it!
Virtual Mastery Session: Dealing With Imposter Syndrome
Have you ever sat in a room, physically or virtually and somewhere in your heart wondered if you truly belong there? You’re not alone and this June, we’re creating a space to talk about it honestly.
Our upcoming Virtual Mastery Session: Dealing with Imposter Syndrome is designed for every woman who has ever downplayed her wins, second-guessed her capabilities, or felt like she was one step away from being “found out” as fraud despite having all the qualifications.
In this session, we’ll be unpacking where imposter syndrome comes from, how it shows up in our careers and daily lives, and most importantly, what we can actually do about it.
Date: 13th June, 2026
Time: 12:00pm WAT
This session is free and open to everyone, so bring a friend, share with your network, and come ready to have a real conversation.
Skills Corner: Learning & Development
Follow the 70-20-10 rule: 70% learning through doing, 20% through others, 10% through formal training
Read with intention: Pick one book per quarter that directly relates to a skill gap you’re trying to close
Find a learning buddy: Partner with someone to learn a new skill together because accountability accelerates growth
Teach what you learn: Explaining concepts to others is the fastest way to solidify your own understanding
Consume content strategically: Replace one hour of scrolling with one podcast episode or article that serves your goals
IHA Big Sis Corner
We made it to June!
Can you believe we’re halfway through the year already? June has a way of sneaking up on you like, one minute you’re setting January goals, and suddenly you’re here, six months in, wondering where the time went.
But before you spiral into ‘I haven’t done enough’ mode, I want you to stop, breathe and really look back at everything you’ve navigated since January.
The meetings you showed up to even when you didn’t feel like it. The hard conversations you finally had. The moments where you chose yourself even when it was uncomfortable. The goals you’re still working on despite setbacks and lack of motivation.
You see, that’s not failure. That’s life and growth in real time.
Because let’s be honest, 2026 has not been easy. There have been moments that tested you, stretched you, and made you question everything. There have been days when giving up felt like the most logical option.
But you didn’t give up. You’re still here, still reading this, still pushing through and that, is everything.
So before we talk goals and strategies and second-half plans, I just want to say Well done! For showing up when it was hard, for choosing hope on the hopeless days, for being kind to yourself even when you didn’t feel like you deserved it.
So close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask yourself; What do I want the second half of this year to feel like?
June is here, let’s make it count!
What’s Happening Around The Globe For African Women
The Africa Women’s Summit in Zanzibar recently honored 100 outstanding women globally for their massive contributions to healthcare, advocacy, governance, and technology.
The Global African Women’s Sustainability Conference: Following its recent run at the Abuja International Conference Centre, this initiative highlighted women driving green industrialization, sustainability-driven business models, and inclusive economic growth.
The Africa Soft Power Summit: In Nairobi, the summit concluded with a gala celebrating women shaping African arts, institutions, and sports—such as honoring institutional architect Bolanle Austen-Peters and athlete Faith Kipyegon.
Community Spotlight: Shining Stars In Our Circle.
On our latest blog post, we spotlighted Precious, one of our Bootcamp participants and Social Media Ambassador.
